Why PNW Aging?

PNW Aging is a locally owned and operated business that was started in 2001. PNW Aging realized there was a great need for high quality advocacy for the Seniors in our community; for experienced, compassionate and educated Case Managers to support Caregivers in their roles caring for your loved one. In today’s world not everyone has family close, nonetheless able to accept such responsibilities. Today families have such busy schedules that they are unable to provide the needed supports to their loved ones.

We are very actively involved in the wellbeing of the Senior Community as we help support Seniors everyday. Whether they are living in their own homes or even in a long-term care setting, we are always there to support them and their loved ones through Caregiving and Case Management support. Navigating and coordinating is a complex process, sometimes a bit overwhelming. PNW Aging makes it easy to navigate the healthcare system, while also ensuring family and friends can rest easy knowing their loved ones are properly cared for.

Our involvement goes beyond just the daily job and is about the understanding that a stronger community helps everyone! PNW Aging is proudly involved with many community partners to help develop a stronger community, one in which is also aging friendly. From being involved with the Alzheimer's Association - OR/SW Washington Chapter, HOPE Dementia Support Groups (non-profit providing supports and resources for families affected by dementia), Loving Them Forward (non-profit for Family and Professional Caregivers), A Caring Closet (non-profit providing free medical equipment to those in need), and other organizations such as Share of Vancouver, (non-profit that helps provide meals, housing and other supports for the seniors in our community who are homeless), as well as the Senior Hero Awards.

PNW Aging knows it takes a village to care for those most vulnerable and understand it can't be done alone. PNW Aging values working with other local businesses and healthcare partners to raise awareness of the needs, help motivate others to support our aging community, and are always looking for ways to be innovative and work together to achieve these goals.

PNW Aging contributes to the quality of life for families and Seniors everyday. We are a team of professionals that support families with Case Management, Healthcare POA, and In-Home Caregiving supports. Families stress enough about caring for their loved ones and need help navigating. PNW Aging provides them with the tools and support needed to make sure their loved ones are properly cared for, while also providing them with outside resources and support no matter what situation they are in.

PNW Aging has been selected multiple times as the Best In Business (2017, 2019, 2023) through the Vancouver Business Journal in Vancouver, as well as voted in the top 5 several years in a row for Best of Clark County through The Columbian. PNW Aging is also one of the first businesses in Vancouver to become a Certified Dementia Friendly Business understanding the importance of raising awareness and creating a dementia friendly office space. We have also had 3 Caregivers over the years be selected for Caregiver of the Year Award with the Senior Hero Awards, reflecting the excellence of our Caregiver Team.

We collaborate with several community partners and community organization, and understands the importance of community. We are always actively working to strengthen the bond. PNW Aging is involved with many non-profit organizations and works to support these organizations to encourage community togetherness, while focusing on the aging population to ensure their community is aging-friendly.

PNW Aging won the 2021 Senior Heroes Award for Senior Focused Business - For Profit. This is awarded to a business providing exceptional leadership in the areas of service collaboration; financial support; innovative services; community service to seniors; etc., for the benefit of the senior population in Clark County. We are a company that advocates for the disabled, and well-being of seniors while promoting aging with dignity.
